Clayfield College offers traditional boarding and flexible day/urban boarding options to suit your family’s needs. Boarding at Clayfield is an incredibly rewarding and unique experience. Your child will learn and grow in a safe, caring and supportive environment. Previously offering girls-only boarding, the College currently offers boys’ boarding in Years 7 and 8.

Carolyn Hauff Boarding House

The Carolyn Hauff Boarding House is conveniently located north of Brisbane city and just a short 10-minute drive from the domestic and international airports. The Eagle Junction Railway Station is also only a five-minute walk away, with a bus stop located at the Boarding House doorstep.

As a former hospital, the Boarding House provides separate living facilities for boys and girls, while still benefiting from shared services such as catering.

Living at Clayfield

Our facilities include a Physical Education Centre with fitness studios, 25-metre outdoor pool, tennis and netball courts and extensive green space and ovals. There are also a number of whole school facilities including the Chapel, Learning Resource Centre, Technology Labs, and School Assembly Hall. Shops, cinemas and other leisure facilities are easily accessible.

In 2024, Clayfield College is accepting boarding enrolments from male students (Years 7 and 8) and female students (Years 7 to 12). The boarding experience mirrors the Parallel Learning model and provides a safe, nurturing environment for all students.
